Progressive Thinker

After asking my family about being a progressive thinker, they told me that it meant to be progress towards everything. An example about my country that is Israel. Israel is making an enormous progress in anti terrorism and also a progress in evryting of daily life. Israel is only 61 years old and it is a developed country so we can see that it is a big progress. Also Israel is in ceased fire with palestine for the moment and I hope they will not continue the war because they have killed many people but it is not their fault.

Imperialism in United States of America

Imperialism started in the late 1800s in the US and since then the US has been influencing many other countries in political, economic and cultural ways. The effect of USA imperialism has been positive because countries like Panama and Phillipines became democracies. I think that the US did a great job in the countries that they colonized. In Panama the US did build the Panama Canal and it is useful to both countries since. In Phillipines the US did a great job by going there because now it became an englophone country and it is a democracy. I think that the US did also a great job in Porto Rico because it also became a democracy and they helped the Puerto Ricans from death with the Spanish.
